Seeking Solutions

Read: Mark 11: 23-24, Matthew 7

"Can you help me?" These words do not always come naturally for children or adults. When faced with life's problems, do you know when to ask for help?

Whether a child needs help with a toy, a student needs help solving an equation, an adult needs help with a project at home or work, or a person of any age needs advice about a relationship, the simplest or most complex of problems can seem to hold the weight of the world at the time we face them.

We can avoid frustration by realizing when to ask for help and knowing who can provide the help that we need. Modeling the problem-solving process for students and showing them how to access resources available to them and how to ask for help when needed will help to equip them to thrive in this complicated world.

Are you seeking solutions this week? What resources do you have at your disposal? Is there someone who can lend a helping hand or word of wisdom? Have you prayed to the one who moves mountains and parts seas?

PRAYER: Thank you, God, for the hope you bring to us as we pass through the valleys of this life. Please guide us to be models of faith and solution seekers as we face and overcome obstacles before us. We honor you and seek the joy and peace that faith in your son brings to us. We serve you, praise you, and ask for these blessings in Christ's name. Amen.
